Willis Raburu quits TV47 months after promotion

Celebrated media personality Willis Raburu has officially parted ways with Cape Media which owns TV and Radio  47.

Raburu is leaving Cape Media after 8 months of joining the media house. His exit comes months after he was appointed as Director of Digital Services and Innovation.

“As I bid farewell to the TV47 family, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for the remarkable growth we’ve achieved together over the past few months, part of his farewell message reads.

Just the other day, Willis announced that that his show ‘Wabebe Experience was taking a break from Air. He used to host the show alongside Mc Gogo and Claudia Naisabwa. 

“We would like to announce that Wabebe Experience will be taking a SEASON BREAK. We sincerely thank our viewers for their continued support and enthusiasm.

Rest assured, we are working diligently behind the scenes to come back BIGGER AND BETTER than ever. Stay tuned for updates on our return! We love you and appreciate you so much.”

Raburu joined TV47 in 2023, in a move that excited his fans. On Aug 22, he informed fans that he was about to herald a new thing.

It later emerged that he would be hosting a new show dubbed the Wabebe XP (experience) on TV47 every Friday at 10 pm.

He was to co-host with Mc Gogo. Claudia Naisabwa then joined them in February 2024 as the third host.
