Veteran broadcaster Leonard Mbotela to be buried on Saturday

The late veteran broadcaster Leonard Mambo Mbotela will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 15, at Lang’ata Cemetery in Nairobi.

A series of funeral arrangements have been put in place ahead of his burial.

Daily funeral meetings will be held from Monday to Wednesday at All Saints Cathedral from 5:30PM.

A main fundraiser to support the family is scheduled for Tuesday.

The funeral service will take place on Friday at 2PM at All Saints Cathedral, before the burial on Saturday at 10 am.

The body will leave Umash Funeral Home at 9AM for the final rites.

Mbotela, popularly known for his long-running “Je, Huu Ni Ungwana?” radio and television programme, died on Friday, February 7, at the age of 85.
