Suspect in Kware murders to be arraigned in court
The prime suspect behind the bodies discovered in Kware, Mukuru slums, will be arraigned at the Kiambu Law Courts today.
Collins Jumaisi Khalusha confessed to having killed 42 women and disposing of their bodies in the dumpsite over the last two years, with the first victim being his wife, Imelda Judith Halenya.
The suspect will be arraigned under a Miscellaneous Application as police seek more time to conclude investigations.
So far, the mother-in-law of the suspect has recorded a statement with the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), detailing how her daughter went missing in 2022.
“In 2022, her WhatsApp account went silent, and we have never heard from her,” she said.
