Simi never expected to marry Adekunle Gold for one major reason

“One thing I think we’ve been blessed with is how we are always on the same page and when we’re not we always find a way. We’re very respectful of each other’s crafts and opinions as singers. We also think it’s important to create boundaries work is work and I think we’ve been able to do very good with that,” Simi added.

Simi and Adekunle Gold got married in a secret invite-only beach wedding back in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Adejare (Deja) into the world in 2020.

The public did not get a glimpse of their child until May 2021 when Simi posted the beautiful pictures to her Instagram.

7 months ago, speaking during an interview, her husband Adekunle shared similar sentiments as he expressed his happiness over the fact that he and his wife are thriving in their careers and relationship, despite their different schedules.

“My family is my center, I told you before. You know that you asked me where I’m happy, my happy place, it’s where they are.

I think that’s why it’s even more beautiful because I don’t have to do plenty of explaining because she understands and I understand as well.

If she needs to go somewhere we shuffle it, like right now she is in Lagos working. Thankfully we have family around to help with Deja,” Gold expressed.
