Select winners from the Kalasha Awards 2024

The Kalasha TV and Film Awards went down over the weekend at the KICC Nairobi. The late Charles Ouda was awarded with the best lead actor in a TV drama award for his role in ‘Salem.’

Sarah Hassan took home best lead actress in a TV drama for her role as ‘Lola’ while Brenda Wairimu won the best supporting actress in a TV drama for the role ‘Nina’ in the show, Zari.

Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Nairobi won Best TV Show at the Kalasha Awards ceremony. Crime drama Pepeta clinched the coveted Best TV Drama and Best Viewers’ Choice. 

More winners winners included stand-up comedy Roast House, Best Performance in a TV Comedy for Abel Mutua; John Allan Namu’s The Last Door for Best Documentary Feature among others.
