Ruto: My mission to fix Kenya is on course

President William Ruto has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to transforming Kenya, vowing to stay the course despite criticism and “political noise.”

The Head of State declared that his leadership is divinely ordained and guided by a deep sense of responsibility to fulfil an assignment he believes was given to him by God.

“Mungu ndiye amenipa nafasi ya kuongoza Kenya, na amenipatia assignment ya ku-transform this nation. Hiyo assignment, I will see it through,” he said.

Ruto noted that key national development goals, such as the Affordable Housing Programme and Universal Health Coverage (UHC), have been delayed for decades due to endless talk and a lack of political will.

“Tumengojea kwa miaka nyingi, story imekuwa nyingi. Hii mradi wa Affordable Housing na Universal Health Coverage imekuwepo for 30 years na haijafanyika. This is the time to do it and I am the person to do it, singojei mwingine,” the President declared.

While attending a church service in Nairobi, Ruto dismissed his detractors and insisted that no amount of intimidation, name-calling, or political attacks will shake his resolve.

“I am committed, determined, and focused on transforming Kenya. No amount of intimidation or name-calling is going to change my course,” he remarked.

He added that time is on his side and that he intends to use every moment of his presidency to deliver meaningful change.

“I have an assignment to transform Kenya na niko na muda ya kutosha ya kunyorosha hii maneno. I have enough time, mpaka ikae mzuri. Watu wananipigia makelele lakini mimi sijali. Mimi I am focused,” he said.
