NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 3 – President William Ruto has directed Treasury to review the 2023 Salary and Remuneration Commission (SRC) Gazette Notice which proposes a pay increment for State officers in the Executive, Parliament, county governments and independent commissions following rejection of Financial Bill.

In a statement, the head of state indicated that all arms of government must live within their means.
