Ray C describes life abroad as ‘it’s a very lonely place’

Life abroad is not all rosy as you may think. Bongo singer Ray C relocated to France, Paris where she secretly lived her life before opening up about it.

The mother of one turned 42 years old on 15 May, and now calls the French-speaking country her happy place.

“Far away from home. But am happy here💫💃” she said.

Taking to her social media, the moto moto hitmaker indicated that she has been inundated with requests for information about living in France.

“Why do people keep sending me requests, ati hey Ray jamani nimechoka Tanzania, nataka pia mi kutoka, sijui nini, nini,” she said.

The songwriter advised with a video on her TikTok channel.

“Jamani, yani mi niwaambieni tu ukweli. Huku ulaya, unajua Tanzania tuna mentality WaAfrica, tuna mentality ya kwamba mtu ameishi ulaya ndio ametoboa na nini. mnajua kuna watu wanaishi Tanzania wapo na maisha mazuri kuliko hata watu walio huku?”

The Kama Vipi singer spoke about the hardship and took netizens on a tour of the place she calls home, displaying beautiful views.

“Nimwambieni tu ukweli, wenzetu huku ndio wameendelea, interms of serikali, serikali zao zinawajali sana, mambo za bima, sijui za afya, yani huku hata swali la bima, yani wanawajali.”

She cautioned against rushing into a decision to relocate, describing it as lonely and stressful.

“Vitu muhimu ambayo wananchi wanahitaji wanaipata kama mishahara mikubwa, lakini it’s a very lonely place, yani kama umewacha familia nyumbani baba, mama yani huku ukija peke yako, huna ndugu, rafiki, huna watu wale ambao umewazoea. Aya ya ya yani ni stress”Â
