Rapper Maandy speaks on being viewed as a bad girl

Musician Maandy was recently called out by the public who felt that she could be a bad influence owing to the suggestive lyrics in her music. 

Maandy in an interview with Oga Obinna on Thursday, Sep 26, said that she is a bad girl, who draws inspiration from US rapper Nicki Minaj and her lifestyle proves just that.

She has rightfully earned her place among the greatest rappers. She has dropped a new song dubbed Bad Girl.

“My goal is to be the top in terms of consistency, quality, numbers. Numbers don’t lie. I’m exactly where I want to be,” Maanday said. 

She described herself as a hard worker who pushes herself to achieve more.

Owing to her bad girl image, Maandy told Obinna that men fear her.

“Men are scared of me and I’m such a sweetheart, labda ni sura, ni kama ya baba yangu.They are very scared of me, even talking to me like…but to any guy out there I’m a sweetheart,” she said pleading to men.

She is single “My problem is that I’m a busy girl, and I said men you like attention very much “

She had all the praise for male Rapper Breeder LW, whom she has collaborated with 

“He is a dope artiste. I think he is also at the top of his game right now. 

She gave her honest evaluation of the state of the Kenyan music industry

“I feel like it’s better I dont think you can become better overnight. It’s definitely better than 10 years ago. “
