NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 16 – President Willian Ruto says that he is going to assent to the Affordable Housing Bill Monday after parliament passed the legislation to anchor the affordable housing program.

The president has remained firm on his optimistic view of the housing project asserting that it will serve as a major economic breakthrough key, especially in job creation for the youths for the youths and the general well-being of the citizens.
The president has further stated that the project is going to create space to see the maximum production of food and the manufacturing sector that will in turn make Kenya a food and economic powerhouse.
“We want to make sure that we do that which is going to change our country. Housing is going to give us jobs for our young people, is going to give us decent living conditions for our young people.
Thic comes after the parliament approved devolved units taking administration of the affordable housing programs in a bill that awaits President William Ruto’s signature.
