President Ruto chairs Kenya Kwanza PG at State House

President William Ruto on Friday chaired the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting at State House, Nairobi.

Ruto urged lawmakers to put the country’s interests first and prioritise the welfare of Kenyans over political differences.

“This is the time to put Kenya and the people ahead of any other consideration. We will work together, our political inclinations notwithstanding, to take our country forward. Kenya, and the people, must succeed,” he said.

The meeting brought together MPs and leaders allied with the ruling coalition ahead of the signing of a working agreement between Kenya Kwanza and Raila Odinga’s ODM party.
