President Ruto arrives in Zimbabwe for state visit




President Wiliam Ruto arrived in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe on Friday evening ahead of a two-day State Visit to the Southern Africa nation.

The plane carrying Ruto who is accompanied by First Lady Rachel Ruto landed at Joshua Mquabuko Nkomo International Airport.

He was received by his host President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

President Ruto will be the Chief Guest at the 64th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo on Saturday.

In a statement, Statehouse said the tour is aimed at bolstering political, economic, and socio-cultural ties between Nairobi and Harare.
