President Ruto appoints Douglas Kanja as Police IG » Capital News

NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 19 – President William Ruto has appointed Douglas Kanja as the Inspector General of the National Police Service(NPS).

Kanja will serve for four years.

The appointment follows approval by the National Assembly on Wednesday.

Kanja will take over from Japhet Koome who resigned in July.
