‘Patanisho’ host Gidi treated to a birthday surprise mid-air by KQ staff

Radio Jambo presenter Joseph Ogidi Oyo popularly as Gidi expressed his gratitude to Kenya Airways(KQ) airline for acknowledging and celebrating him as he turns a year older.

Gidi on his Instagram page appreciated KQ and shared videos of how the flight attendants showered him with attention on his way to Cape Town, South Africa.

The flight attendants surprised him mid-air merrily singing the happy birthday chorus while presenting a glass of drink to Gidi to celebrate his big day.

“Thank you so much for the birthday surprise mid-air on flight KQ784 to Cape Town. You are indeed the pride of Africa . Pass regards to the entire crew on this flight.” he wrote

His radio co-host Ghost Mulee also shared a heartfelt message to beautifully celebrate him for being part of his life.

He prayed for him to have a long life with good health. In an amazing birthday post on Instagram, he also reminded him of his legendary song that many people are not aware he was the man behind the trending song Ubwogable in 2002

“Join me in wishing my boss and great man who made most Kenyans happy in 2002 with the unforgettable  Unbwogable song. Happy birthday Gidi. May the Lord grant you your wishes and may you live to blow many many more candles all in good health,” he wrote

The duo is known to be behind one of Kenyan’s biggest breakfast shows Gidi na Ghost Asubuhi on Radio Jambo.
