National Prayer Breakfast underway at Safari Park Hotel
The 22nd National Prayer Breakfast is currently underway at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.
This year’s event, hosted by the Parliament of Kenya, has been graced by President William Ruto, who has already arrived at the venue.
Also in attendance are Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, and Senate Speaker Amason Kingi as well as Cabinet Secretaries.
Themed “Rise and Rebuild”, the interdenominational gathering emphasizes reconciliation, national unity, and shared responsibility among leaders.
It brings together political and religious leaders from across the country, along with members of the public.
The annual event encourages leaders to reflect on their roles and privileges before God, regardless of political or religious affiliations, and to prioritise the nation’s well-being.
The event holds great significance in Kenya’s calendar as it promotes national unity, reconciliation, and spiritual reflection among the country leaders.
