Man marries one of the famous American conjoined twins
An American teacher who gained fame on a reality television show with his conjoined twin has been reported to have quietly tied the knot three years ago.
According to public records obtained by US TODAY, Abby Hensel, now 34, from Minnesota, married Josh Bowling, a nurse and military veteran, in 2021.
Abby and her sister Brittany, one of the few sets of dicephalus conjoined twins in history, survived as infants, gaining fame on their TLC show which documented their major life events, including high school graduation and job hunting.
The twins share one body, and from the waist down, their organs, including intestines, bladder, and reproductive organs, are shared.
In a recorded film when the girls were teenagers, their mother said they were eager to have their own children one day, explaining: “Maybe that’s something that could work because those organs work for them.”
“Yes, we will be mothers,” Brittany agreed.
In another interview, Brittany emphasised their desire to have their own families, saying: “The whole world doesn’t need to know who we see, what we do, and when we will do it. But believe me, we are completely different people.”
Abby added: “Yes, we will be mothers one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it will work yet.”
On the TikTok account @abbyandbrittanyhensel, a video was recently posted showing Abby’s wedding day – and the Facebook account named Britt And Abby also had pictures of the happy couple.
