Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro allays fears on 2024-2025 National budget estimates




Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has allayed fears on the 2024-2025 national budget estimates saying its only proposals which are subject to changes.

Nyoro who is also the Chairperson of Budgets and Appropriations Committee in the National Assembly applauded the media on its effort to create awareness on the finance bill.

He noted that Kenya is among the best countries in fiscal accountability saying public participation shall be done and views heard.

“I want to assure the Kenyan people that in the entire process of making the Finance Bill to become a Finance Act all Kenyans’ voices will be heard,” said Nyoro.

The MP spoke on Sunday during a fundraiser at a PCEA church in Narok.

He also defended fiscal milestones achieved under President Wiliam Ruto’s leadership.

“This government is not hellbent on overtaxing Kenyans. we want Kenyans to do their businesses without us bringing a tax regime that will distort decision making in doing business,” he stated.
