
KeRRA boss Philemon Kandie resigns
Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) has announced the resignation of Eng. Philemon Kandie as Director General effective 11th July, 2025.
Announcing his resignation Friday evening, the Board of Directors also announced his replacement Eng. Jackson K. Magondu (Director – Planning, Design and Environment in an acting capacity following consultation with the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Roads and Transport.
“The Authority wishes to inform the general public of the resignation of Eng. Philemon Kandie, MBS as the Director General of Kenya Rural Roads Authority, effective 11th July, 2025,” a statement from KeRRA read.
“The Board of Directors, in consultation with the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Roads and Transport, wishes to inform that Eng. Jackson K. Magondu (Director – Planning, Design and Environment) has been appointed to the Office of the Director General on acting capacity with effect from Friday, 11th July, 2025,” it added.
The Board of Directors praised Kandie’s invaluable service and contribution to the Authority.
