Kenyans react as Ezekiel Mutua prays for Pastor Kanyari after meeting him over TikTok content
He prayed that Kanyari be covered in the blood of Jesus and that he may be used as an instrument of God.
“My message to Pastor Victor Kanyari: “Go and sin no more.”And to his accusers: “Let anyone of you who has not sinned cast the first stone”,” Mutua stated
Kanyari on his part said he became scared when he saw that Mutua had flagged his content on TikTok as inappropriate.
“Niliona umeongea nikashtuka, nikasema nitatoa wapi huyu mtu niombe msamaha na aniambie nimekosea wapi,” Kanyari said.
Kanyari has been holding live sessions on Tik Tok which have become a trending topic and subject of discussion for weeks.
While some viewed his content as inappropriate for a man who professes the Kingdom of God, others expressed support for his content.
The uproar regarding his content saw Mutua warn that he will not hesitate to take action against him.
“Kanyari must be stopped. That’s not a church he is running. It’s a mockery of the church and a disgrace to the Christian faith,” he said.
And added:
“I am talking to the relevant government agencies to see what can be done, but allowing such misuse of digital platforms to normalise evil is something we should not celebrate or condone,” he added.
