Kenyan Chef, Lesiamon featured in UK reality show The ‘World Cook’
Kenyan celebrity Chef Lesiamon Ole Sempele popularly known as Chef Les is set to feature on UK reality cook show ‘World Cook’.
The Chef proudly announced his upcoming appearance on the U.K. reality show ‘The World Cook.’ on his Instagram page.
He described it as a dream come true.
“MAMA I’M ON TV! It was a dream being a part of this incredible adventure. Catch me and my friends battling it out on @theworldcook #series on @primevideo,” he captioned the post.
The World Cook is a reality show on Prime Video hosted by the charismatic duo of Fred Sirieix and Emma Willis. Kenyan Chef Lesiamon joins 15 other global cooks in a battle of culinary prowess.
Chef Lesiamon is a seasoned hospitality personnel who has carved a niche for himself in the hospitality industry.
His interest in hospitality began at a young age as he would sit and watch cooking shows the likes of Mke Nyumbani on KBC on Saturdays.
Ole Sempele went to Utalii College for a short course in cake making and decoration and then enrolled at Top Chef full-time.
A graduate of Kenya’s Utalii College, Ole Sempele has embarked on a journey that saw him hone his culinary skills at established institutions like The Fairmont, Tribe Hotel, and Sankara Nairobi, among others.
“I joined Kenya Utalii College for a crash course in Cake Making & Decoration, after which, I embarked on my professional Culinary/Chef´s course at Top Chefs Culinary Institute.
This journey kickstarted my career in hospitality, allowing me to gain experience through training and working with leading industry brands.” The renowned Chef shared while reflecting on his journey.
His illustrious career boasts stints with globally recognized competitions with the recent being The World Cook.
In 2021, he clinched the runner-up position in the ‘House Of Chefs’ reality TV show, competing against seven other chefs from across the African continent.
The industrious Chef has at one point worked on a cruise ship that saw him explore 17 different destinations his favorite being the Isle of Pines in New Caledonia.
