
Kenya showcasess innovation public service solutions at APSD 2025 in Addis Ababa
Kenya joined other African countries in marking the 2025 edition of Africa Public Service Day (APSD), taking place at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
This year’s event is themed: “Enhancing the Agility and Resilience of Public Institutions to Achieve Equitable Governance and Rapidly Address Historical Service Delivery Gaps.”
According to a statement, Kenya is showcasing a robust portfolio of innovations designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and service delivery across the public sector.
The institutions showcasing innovations include: The State Department for Internal SSecurity and National Administration – Automated reporting management information system and Kenya Forestry Research Institute – JazaMiti Initiative.
Similarly, the Baringo National Polytechnic – Water Recycling Technology, Huduma Kenya – the universal agent, Tharaka University – poultry meloVax as well as Kenya Ports Authority – KARGOPAY.
Through cross-sectoral collaboration and technological advancement, Kenya continues to lead efforts in reimagining public service delivery across the continent.
