Jeridah Andayi discloses reason she chooses to keep hubby out of limelight

Media personality and seasoned broadcaster Jeridah Andayi has addressed questions by her fans regarding her husband’s absence in the limelight.

The radio presenter had asked her fans and followers to share their questions via her YouTube channel and she candidly answered them. 

While acknowledging a question about the presence of her husband in the limelight, the mother of three shared it was her choice but refrained from sharing any more details in this matter.

“And I know the next question you are going to ask is why is their father not there in the limelight? Because that is also a conscious decision I made,” she noted.

She however divulged details on how she felt about her children being in the limelight since she was a public figure herself.

Whilst recognizing critics sent her way for this Jeridah asserted that she was raising her kids her way and she didn’t know if she could have it any other way. 

“I don’t know if I would have it any other way. I have had people come to me and lecture me on why I expose my children to the limelight. Why am I raising my children in front of the camera? They tell me it is not right, and I respect their opinion. 

However, I would appreciate it if they understood I am not raising my kids with a script but in my own way. If you feel as a parent you do not want your kids to be in the limelight, then that is okay,” she remarked.

She further explained that her having her kids in the limelight was brand identity for her as they’re part of her brand identity adding that it was her conscious decision to have them in the limelight as was her keeping their father out. 

“We live in the era of the internet, digitization, brand, and brand identity I feel like my children are part of my brand and identity. 

So that’s why sometimes I put them there. Sometimes it is not all that good, but having my children in the limelight was my conscious decision just the same way I chose not to involve their father in the mix,” she explained.
