Jacqueline Wolper’s word to Christina Shusho over marital revelation
Gospel singer Christina Shusho’s separation from her preacher husband John Shusho is something that even her deepest fans are trying to come to terms with.
In her Sunday, April 28, 2024 message, she invited fans to her church informing them they needed to worship.
Many responded saying they were not happy with her split from her husband, but socialite and businesswoman Jackeline Wolper urged her to stay strong.
“Tukutane Kesho Kanisani. The Dreamers Centre Fellowship,” said Shusho as Wolper added, “Utayashinda yote we love u😍”
The Dream Centre is the Church she launched after decamping from her husband’s church.
The Shusha Nyavu hitmaker reacted, “Thank you mama P ukweli utabaki kuwa ukweli. I love you right back.”
In June 2021, she was interviewed by Radio Jambo’s Massawe Japanni where the singer refused to address the rumours that at the time, the couple had split.
“I have heard a lot of rumours about me, there was a time it was said I was dead. There were also claims my bedroom photos had leaked, as well as people saying I am a mother of three,” she said.
The rumours had been gaining ground since 2020. Shusho said she does not advocate or advise anyone to consider divorce and breakups.
She said women should not stay in a toxic and painful relationship and that they are free to walk out if they can’t handle it.
“Let the rumours about me splitting with my husband be just that. I do not want to advise people to leave each other but there are circumstances when it gets too ugly and you cannot continue.
You are not supposed to live in pain. If you can tolerate pain then keep at it, but if you cannot, then let it end,” she pointed out.
