Interesting reason Zari doesn’t want Shakib to live with her in South Africa
Popular Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has made it clear that she is happy and content to live apart from her husband Shakib Cham Lutaaya.
Recently, the couple had a candid conversation where they talked about their long distance relationship and how they have been able to maintain their marriage despite not living together.
Zari said that at first, right after their marriage, she was not sure about how their marriage would work while living in different countries.
“I was surprised, we will live in different places when we are married. But I think it works,” Zari said in a video posted on YouTube.
Shakib revealed that after their marriage, he was ready to move his businesses from Uganda to South Africa to live with his wife.
The 32-year-old said he had weighed everything and decided to move to South Africa before later changing his decision.
“I discovered this thing that we are together, I come to see you, it feels like something completely new. I saw that it makes sense and I realized that if we run our passion like this, we can go up to 40 years,” he said.
Zari noted that she would not even want her husband to live with her in South Africa. She admitted that she doesn’t want to be with her 32-year-old husband every day as it might tire her.
“No, I would be tired. I can’t stand you for a month. It’s too much, I’m too busy. Doing a lot of advertising, I travel, there are children, business, then me and my social life and for me to put it all together and add you now as my husband, the fact that we are not with each other for 24 hours is tiring,” Zari said.
