How TikToker Shiro Kariithi gets her rib-cracking marriage content

Magdalene Wanjiru Kariithi is famously known as Shiro Kariithi on TikTok. Her content is loved by Kenyans online as she plays the character of a married woman on phone calls with her husband, reminding him to return home after his adventures.

Shiro who got into TikTok in 2021 normally recounts the difficulties married women faced dealing with their husbands. Her goat wife chronicles are loved by many.

Shiro recently spoke to YouTuber Jeff Kuria where she explained that she is inspired by her friends’ toxic relationships’ as they often narrate to her what they encounter in their marriages.

“The stories I share are from real people.99 percent,” the TikToker assures.

“TikTok is where you take your madness, your depression, when you are broke you open an account, when you want to abuse people you go there. Am I lying?” she opens up.

She has also been through a tough marriage that was on and off for several years. That eventually led to a breakup. She has two children, “They resemble him so much, they talk to his family also.” 

She has not given up on love and is hopeful she will get married again. “I wouldn’t mind one with money. He should know I drink sometimes, and that if I get a client call late at night I will go to the salon.”
