How police ‘discovered’ Kware murder suspect had escaped

The prime suspect in Kware’s murder Collins Jumaisi escaped from Gigiri Police Station on Tuesday,20th, 2024.

Jumaisi was among 13 suspects who escaped from the police station.

The 12 others who escaped custody are Eritreans.

It has now emerged how the 13 ‘escaped’

“Police officers made a routine visit to the cells at 5:00 AM along with the canteen manager to serve the prisoners their breakfast. However, on opening the cells they discovered that thirteen prisoners’ had escaped by cutting the wire mesh of the basking bay,” Revealed the police

Eight police officers based at the Gigiri Police Station have been suspended following a serious breach of duty.
