How Dr Ofweneke ended up being the MC at an ex’s wedding

Dr Ofweneke, the Duke of Kakamega, has narrated the most awkward moment in his life. That involved being an MC for his ex and her husband-to-be.

Ofweneke admitted to this in an interview with Picha Clear Films where he said,

“I had to MC an ex’s wedding. I’m not gonna give a lot of details on that, but yeah the husband didn’t know, and he insisted I am his favorite MC.”

Laughing, Ofweneke added,

“The close family knew, I mean the sisters knew, the girl knew, they were all in agreement that no matter what all emotions aside, Dr Ofweneke is good at what he does and even family from both sides agreed to the thing that I would be the best  MC.”

He left the host in awe as he added,

“So nilikaa pale, nikaona wakishikanishwa I was even the one insisting, ‘You may kiss the bride, you may kiss the bride. kiss those damn lips.'”

A role that an Mc has is to also help the newlywed couple begin their first dance. Ofweneke was only too happy to oblige. 

“Mpaka kiwadansisha, nikawakulisha keki and I was paid.”

He disclosed the admirable amount he earned that day,

“I was paid really good money, I was paid around 300k, and it was worth it. The good thing is I didn’t feel any pain coz her and I were done with that part.

Clearly there were no emotions that were involved, maybe her coz I could see body language a bit uncomfortable. Later on her sister got high, texted and told me, ‘Hi she is talking about you.’ And I like, ‘Ah okay.'”
