Heartbroken Eric Omondi speaks after brother Fred Omondi’s death

Alongside the tribute, Eric shared a video of the two brothers performing a parody song titled Kasuku.

Fred’s last Instagram post indicated he was scheduled to perform at Da Place Lounge in Kisumu on June 13.

Kenyans flooded his Instagram, where he had earlier advertised a club event in Meru alongside Eric on Saturday, June 15.

Fred had expressed anticipation for the weekend, stating, “This weekend it’s all about the Meru 7s, Tupatane Kinoru, Meru.”

The brothers had collaborated numerous times in their careers. Fred tragically passed away in a road accident on Outering Road on Saturday morning.

According to police reports, the accident occurred when the bodaboda carrying Fred was hit by a speeding bus, causing both rider and passenger to fall onto the road.

Fred was rushed to Mama Lucy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead while receiving medical attention, as confirmed by police and witnesses at the scene.
