NYERI, Kenya, Jul 11 – Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga has urged President William Ruto to remove cabinet secretaries whom Generation Z has demanded be ousted to put the country on the right track.
Kahiga says that Ruto’s political future and the nation’s well-being is at stake as he attributed his current predicament to poor advice from his advisors
He stressed the need for Ruto to protect his political standing by making wise decisions following careful introspection.
“With all humility I want to advise my president , the Gen Z have made their demands, you engaged them. None of their demands said you asemble 150 delegates to discuss anything. If they have said you reorganize or sack your cabinet kindly do so,” he stated.
Kahga said President Ruto has been misadvised and because of that he should do the right thing,”
He urged him to sit down with his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, call his advisors and listen to them before taking action.
“We have your deputy in the name of Rigathi Gachagua who was elected on 9th august and went through the process for his office we ask your mr president to let him be and allow him to do what he was elected to do ” said kahiga.
Kahiga said by alienating Gachagua leaders from Kenya Kwanza were bringing him closer to the people hence their is no need for that.
