Ghanaian gospel sensation Joe Mettle set for Kenyan visit
Renown Ghanaian gospel sensation Joe Mettle is set for a Kenyan visit. Mettle is being hosted by Nairobi-based French -Senegalese singer-songwriter and recording artist, Jane Bossia, who is set to host an electrifying concert featuring on the 7th of July at the Nairobi Chapel.
Jane Bossia, with origins from Senegal and Martinique, brings a rich cultural heritage to her music. Her musical journey began in the church choir, and she has since traveled extensively, performing at concerts and tours in France, the USA, Ivory Coast, and the UK.
She has collaborated with renowned producers, contributing to albums by various artists.
Mettle, hailed as one of the biggest gospel music names from West Africa, will be one of the guests of honor, participating in the live recording of the concert alongside distinguished Kenyan worship leaders like Martin J. Dulo, JCC’s Gathoni Mutugi, and Jacque Gachiri.
The event, aptly named ‘Gratitude’ promises to be a galactic gathering of notable worship powerhouses drawn from all over Africa.
Sharing the stage with Mettle will also be Congo’s Andrew Ngelelo and Côte d’Ivoire’s Derek Jones. Mettle expressed his anticipation for the event, urging fans to attend and promising an unforgettable worship experience.
“We are going to record some songs to lift up the Name of Jesus…Alongside some of the songs that you know. It’s going to be an experience you don’t want to miss,” he said.

Joe Mettle, known for popular tracks such as ‘Bo Noo Ni’, ‘Amen’, and ‘Turning Around’, has been making gospel music for over a decade now. He is recognized as Ghana’s biggest gospel music export and has several accolades to his credit, including being the first Ghanaian gospel artiste to be awarded Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) in 2017.
This event is said to be a remarkable fusion of East and West African gospel music talents, promising to be an unforgettable experience of unity and praise.
