Footage emerges of Shad Khalif allegedly being abducted
Activist Shadrack Kiprono, popularly known as Shad Khalif, has allegedly been abducted. CCTV footage capturing the moment men grabbed the activist has been leaked online, eliciting sharp reactions from Kenyans.
In the footage, Khalif is seen walking towards a white car outside a club, with two individuals in front of him. Two other men approach the activist and suddenly stand beside the vehicle Khalif is attempting to enter. Shad is then grabbed by two individuals who emerge from the left and right, placing him in a chokehold. They tussle with the activist and bundle him into the vehicle.
The commotion catches the attention of nearby onlookers who witness the incident. The group then jumps into a white Prado that quickly drives off.
In related news, there has also been leaked footage of the supposed abduction of AG Justin Muturi’s son, showing him leaving a popular Nairobi club moments before his disappearance. This comes as popular Twitter user JaPrado, also known as Austin Omondi, was released after being arrested.
