Final KUCCPS placement revision closes Saturday

2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates have until Saturday this week to revise their choices for university and college placement.

This follows the reopening of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal for a one-week window to allow for the second revision. The opportunity also targets students who either missed the initial application or were unsuccessful in their first attempt.

“The KUCCPS application system is open for the Second Revision of University, College and Programme choices. KCSE holders who have not applied for courses or those who applied but were unsuccessful are invited to apply”, KUCCPS said in a notice on Saturday, May 31.

To apply for the revision of courses, candidates are required to visit the KUCCPS website: http://students.kuccps.net and click the tab student portal to make the application.

According to KUCCPS, 41 public universities, 29 private universities, and one Open University of Kenya are the available learning institutions to which candidates can apply.

The system will close on June 7, 2025. The first revision was opened for nine days on May 18.
