His views on joining politics

Often hailed as the ‘Tom Mboya of our time’ by Gen Z, Kasmuel McOure hasn’t shied away from expressing his political aspirations.

In an August interview with Kenyans.co.ke, he made it clear that he’s ready to make a splash in the political arena.

“It’s time for the so-called good men to step up, I’m planning to run for an elective position—whether it will be in Nairobi or somewhere else in Kenya, we’ll figure that out later. Right now, while the political class is busy with their campaigns, we’re focusing on pushing for real change. This isn’t a sudden decision for me.”

He elaborated on August 1, sharing that this has been on his mind for a while. “I’ve been saying this since 2002, the year I came of age. I’m fed up with electing clowns. It’s time for genuinely good people to step up and give us more options. We’re always stuck choosing between two candidates, which feels like picking the lesser evil.”

Kasmuel’s plan is to run in the 2027 elections, making it clear he won’t be tied to any political party.
