Discover how simple it is to make a flower bouquet
Steps
1. Remove the Thorns
Start by holding the rose stem firmly. Use a thorn stripper. With a pair of thorn stripper or a sharp knife, carefully cut away the thorns, starting from the bottom of the stem and working your way up.
2. Trim the Stems.
Use a pair of scissors. Cut to Desired Length Trim the stems to your desired length, usually around 6-8 inches for a small bouquet. Cut at an angle make sure to cut the stems at a 45% angle to allow for better water absorption incase you would like to put the flowers in a vase later.
3. Prepare the Roses
Remove Leaves Strip off any leaves that will be below the waterline in the vase.
4. Arrange the Roses
Begin by holding the focal stem of your bouquet, which serves as the centerpiece. Then, gradually add flowers around it, ensuring they complement the focal point. Arrange the blooms in a way that creates balance and visual interest, adjusting their heights and angles as needed.
5. Tie the Flowers
Use Twine or Ribbon Take a piece of twine or ribbon and wrap it around the stems just below the blooms. Secure the Knot. Tie a secure knot to hold the bouquet together.
There you go! You’ve got a lovely bouquet for yourself and ready to brighten someone’s day!
