Diamond speaks on effect mother’s paralysis had on him
Tanzanian artist Nasib Abdul Juma, better known as Diamond Platnumz, has once again spoken about a very challenging time in his life when his mother, Bi Sandra, experienced paralysis.
“I witnessed my mother’s hardship, which led me to halt my education,” he said before adding, “In 2013, before Tiffah was born, my mother suffered a stroke that left her paralysed. It was a confusing and challenging time for me; I didn’t know what to do,” Diamond shared in a recent interview with Wasafi FM.
This past week has also seen the father of 5 trended for divulging never-before-known information.
This past weekend during a live performance the singer disclosed the lady who had inspired his popular first hit, ‘Kamwambie’.
The two reunited over the weekend during one of Diamond’s shows, where Sarah came to support him. Diamond expressed his affection for her but explained that she had since moved on and started a family.
“Sarah is the reason I released my breakout song ‘Kamwambie,'” he disclosed to the crowd, introducing her and recounting their past relationship.
It seems that cute moment might have not been as cute to the singer’s presumed lover, Zuchu.
Days later, Diamond’s sister, Esma Khan, hinted at Zuchu’s departure from the singer’s residence. Esma took to Instagram stories, urging Zuchu to return.
“My little sister Zuchu, I’m coming to collect the bags you packed. Yesterday, you made me sleep at eleven, thinking we were done, only to find out you had even packed your bags. My dear sister, don’t be like this. You’re my Zanzibar companion; this anger is unnecessary.”
What could have caused the ‘Sukari’ musician’s fury? Only she knows.
