Confusion as top influencers change tune on marching to State House late in the Night
Netizens this morning have woken up to shocking posts from a few X bigwigs and activists who’ve been at the forefront of leading the Reject Finance Bill protests.
Most of the big Twitter bigwigs are asking people to stand down and refrain from marching to the State House.
The posts have left many confused with a sense of being “sold out”.
Before the change of tune, most influencers had called on their followers and fans to show up in numbers as they marched to the State House.
This was part of the 7 Days of Rage calendar that had been released last week as well as an honour to the citizens who lost their lives during Tuesday protests.
On X a space had been held where close to 130k users had joined in expressing what they thought about the President and the Deputy President’s speeches as well as the Githurai massacre that still has people reeling.
