President William Ruto departed Kenya Sunday June 2 to attend the Korea-Africa summit.

He was seen off by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday evening at the airport.

The Head of State was casually dressed in a light white jacket, light blue shirt and blue trousers.

His shoes caught attention. They are black deerskin triple stitch shoes.

According to the website Zegna.com, they are called Emmenegildo Zegna costing $1615, according to henrybucks.com.au.

It is a triple crossed elastic triple crossed sneaker from the supple black deerskin.

The photo of the President was shared on DP Rigathi Gachagua’s Twitter.

In a tweet, Gachagua said that besides attending the Korea-Africa Summit, the President will hold bilateral engagements to further strengthen the diplomatic bond between Kenya and the Asian State for the benefit of the people of the two Nations.

Gachagua was accompanied by Interior CS Kithure Kindiki, Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah

During his visit, President Ruto will hold bilateral talks with President Yoon Suk Yeol to review the progress of the Sh132 billion Framework Arrangement partnership agreed upon during his last visit in November 2022.
