Canadian travel enthusiasts Dave Mani and wife exit Kenya after 4 years
International travel couple Dave Mani and his wife Tracy have announced their exit from Kenya after 4 years.
The Canadian couple got emotional bidding goodbye to Kenyans.
Their travel videos resonate with their fans, who have now said goodbye with sorrowful messages.
“What an amazing last safari here in Kenya! We came to Kenya back in 2020 for my work. (Yes, I have a real job) My work contract is now done. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I like making content more than anything so I will be leaving my “real job” next month to do this full time!” Dave captioned a video strolling in the airport.
In 2023, a conversation about him got his attention, when a Twitter user tagged him.Â
He jokingly responded to a Twitter user that he is a CIA agent.

Dave said “You got me! I am a CIA agent even though I am Canadian! I specialize in infiltrating safari camps around and beach resorts in Africa!”
In their final video announcing their next move, Dave recalled how he made the decision to move to Kenya.
YouTube content was his dream.Â
“I got a two-year contract, but I extended it up to 4 years, It was definitely a challenge because I was working Monday to Friday, in an office in Nairobi, it was alot of sacrifices, we sacrificed so much that we had to give it a shot. “
Dave will leave his other job on Aug 13, to become a full-time content creator.
“We have no idea if we are going to make it, at the same time, we’d have never thought that we would’ve came this far. We hope you guys are going to follow us outside of Kenya” he expressed his desire.
