‘Call me grandma Amara!’ Kajala beams with Joy after Paula makes her a grandma

Veteran Tanzanian actress Fridah Kajala Masanja is the newest grandmother in town. Kajala’s 22-year-old daughter, Paula Paul, announced the birth of her first child on Tuesday, March 21, and her mother couldn’t hide her joy.

Kajala, the former lover of bongo star Harmonize, posted a video embracing and playing with her grandchild while sitting on a couch.

“You can call me Grandma Amara,” Kajala wrote under the video she posted on Instagram.

Paula and Marioo welcomed their daughter, Princess Amara, on May 3, 2024. The famous couple, who have been together for about a year, waited until yesterday, May 21, to announce the birth of their first child together.

While making the announcement, model Paula thanked God for the gift of her child and expressed how fulfilled she felt as a parent.

“AMARA❤️ 03/05/2024 I just want to say thank you God🙏. My heart is full and grateful. Thank you for choosing me to be your mother😍 God knew how much my heart needed you @princess__amarah,” Paula said.

For his part, Paula’s partner, singer Omary Mwanga, known as Marioo, thanked God for the blessing of their child and wished her a good life.

“Thank you God for this blessing of a child, we are grateful for our first child. Our beautiful daughter @princess__amarah, may God help you grow healthy and full of blessings 🙏🏾,” Marioo said.

He accompanied his statement with a beautiful video of the room where Paula gave birth to their daughter.

“THANK YOU MY QUEEN❤️ @therealpaulahkajala YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING WITHIN MY ABILITY, MAY GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY,” he added.

The two bongo stars started dating early last year, just a few months after Paula broke up with singer Rayvanny, who reconciled with his baby mama, Fahymah.
