Barack Obama’s sister teargassed in today’s demos in Nairobi

Today’s demonstrations have revealed its all-time rage after action to fight the finance bill being witnessed in almost every county.

In a drastic event, former US Pres. Barrack Obama’s sister was spotted in the protests as she was trying to have a conversation with CNN journalist, Larry Madowo before a teargas canisters were thrown towards them.

Young Kenyans are demonstrating for their rights, they are demonstrating with flags and banners, I can’t even see anymore we are being teargassed.” Auma Obama lamented.

As demonstrators retaliated more canisters were shot towards them in a bid to disperse them. They seemed to be very peaceful.

Auma decried that she could not believe that even peaceful protesters could be harassed against the constitution of Kenya.

How can you teargas your own people? Listen to them, they are our future, 80% of our population.  If they decide to turn against us they can.” Auma stated.

The Kenyan activist also mentioned that ever since she saw protests, she has never seen one like this because there is no political involvement and they are doing it on their own.
