Top Kenyan musician makes a comeback after 7 years
Kenyan Afro-pop musician Ndegz is back in the industry after a seven-year break.
Yesterday, at Replay Lounge and Bistro, Ndegz held a listening party for his new EP, which comprises seven tracks, including the latest one, “The Bull.”
The EP will be out tomorrow, and fans will be able to listen to it on Spotify, Boomplay, and YouTube.
Ndegz took a break from his music career in 2017, and according to him, the pause lasted longer than he intended.
“My pause lasted longer than I intended, but I realized that everything I was doing outside of music, outside of this thing that I have always loved all my life, was taking me towards my destiny,” he said.
“With every step I took, I was walking towards my destiny, so I found myself six years later ready to embrace my destiny as Ndegz the artist, the producer, the songwriter, and the brand. It’s all about reaching your peak. Now, I am chasing everything that I left on hold. I’m coming for it like I never left. Ndegz is back.”
