Amber Ray discusses possibility of entering politics in 2027

Socialite Amber Ray has spoken about her potential entry into politics in the upcoming general elections of 2027.

In an interview with reporters during the recording of Churchill’s comedy show at the Carnivore restaurant over the weekend, Ray stated that if the time comes and she feels divinely guided, she would certainly consider a political career.

However, the mother of two mentioned that she is not currently ready to enter politics. Even if President Ruto were to nominate her for a cabinet position, she would decline the offer.

“At the moment, let’s say President Ruto nominated me for a CS position, no, I wouldn’t accept it. I would decline because it is a very significant role for anyone to hold.

For me, I need more time to understand what people need so I can be accountable to them, you understand? Right now, I feel I’m not fully ready, so I can’t accept,” Ray said.

“On my part, I always follow visions from above and take steps in due time, so if that time comes and I feel ready and capable, why not give it a try?” she added.

Her husband, Kennedy Rapudo, supported his partner, expressing confidence that if Amber enters politics and gets elected, she will make significant changes and positively impact many lives.

“Why shouldn’t she enter politics? I’m sure if Amber ventures into politics, she will achieve great things and change many lives, especially the lives of the youth and women. I believe she has the capability to do more.”

“And I always tell her that whenever she’s ready to start campaigning, she should let me know, and I will ensure everything is in place for that. So, Amber always has my support, along with our family and friends,” Rapudo added.
