‘Kiatu Kivue’ musician back from India after cancer treatment

When Annastacia Mukabwa returned to Kenya from India, where she had been receiving treatment for breast cancer, JKIA erupted in joyous celebrations akin to a vibrant praise and worship gathering.

Mukabwa, renowned for her hit song ‘Kiatu Kivue’, expressed deep gratitude to be back home, reflecting on the solemn reality that many who sought similar treatment abroad did not return alive.

“Some people left but returned as cargo,” she somberly remarked, while giving thanks to God for preserving her life.

At the airport, friends, family, and colleagues gathered to welcome her warmly, celebrating her safe return amidst prayers and heartfelt emotions.
