I still use the same barber I had in high school
Popular Radio Jambo presenter, Joseph Ogidi alias Gidi Gidi has defended men on the issue of loyalty in marriage.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Jambo, the former artist of ‘Gidi Gid Maji Maji’ music group noted that men are the most loyal beings in the world.
He said that women are often mistaken for doubting the loyalty of men, noting that when men make a decision, they are not only loyal in marriage but also to their football clubs and barbers.
“One thing about men that people should know, once you decide on something, especially football, barber and marriage matters, you’ve decided,” Gidi said.
He added, “I even wonder why many women say ‘Ooh, men are usually loyal to their football team, but they can’t be loyal to their women.. ooh, nini nini..’ apana, men are always loyal.”
Gidi gave an example of himself noting that he has been faithful to his favourite club Arsenal since he started to support it more than three decades ago.
In addition, the presenter also revealed that the barber who started shaving him when he was in high school shaves him till today, and he has never changed since then.
“He always moves, he started in town, he went to Hurlingam, wherever he does go, I follow him to this day, That is my barber until today, loyalty,” he said.
He added, “The football team, I started supporting Arsenal more than 30 years ago. Until today I still support Arsenal. Therefore, women should know that men are very honest people.”
The gifted presenter claimed that men are not disloyal people, but it is women who cause trouble.
“It is women who disturb us, true or false? Women are the ones who bother us. But men are very loyal,” he said.
Gidi said this while criticising his co-presenter Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee for terminating his support for his favorite team, Arsenal.
“So, about that question, I am loyal to Arsenal, since the time I started. I’m also a Lionel Messi fan since ages, and Freddie Ljungberg, along with Thiery Henry, they are my all-time favorite players. Right now at Arsenal, it’s Odegaard, my man. And Rice,” Gidi said.
Ghost claimed that he stopped being a fan of the Arsenal club after seeing the club could kill him with stress as it was not winning anything.
