I will not sign the 2024 Finance Bill and it will be withdrawn
President William Ruto has bowed to pressure and said he will not sign the Finance Bill 2024.
The president said the people have spoken.
“I have conceded and because we have gotten rid of it, we need to have a conversation as a nation,” he said.
State House sources earlier told the Star that the Head of state has also declined to assent to the Bill.
