NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 19 — President William Ruto has maintained his stance on the transition to the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) saying it will afford vulnerable persons an equal opportunity to healthcare.

Ruto who spoke in Narok on Monday during the funeral of Annah Tikui Noolparakuo, former Governor Samuel Tunai’s mother, said those who frustrate the plan will have difficulties defending their position “in heaven”.
