Tanathi CEO among graft suspects set to be arraigned in court




The Chief Executive Officer of Tanathi Water Works Development Agency (TAWWDA), Fredrick Tito Mwamati has been arrested.

The suspect was apprehended over a multi-million graft case relating to the construction of Kinanie Leather Industrial Park Water Supply Project.

He is currently being escorted to Kitui Anti-Corruption Court to take plea. He will be charged alongside top managers in the water agency.

The operation has seen the arrest of three NSSF officials to be charged before Milimani Anti-Corruption Court Tuesday morning.
