These areas will be affected by power outage today
The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has warned of power outages in several areas of the country on Tuesday, March 19.
In a statement on Monday evening, the company announced that some areas in seven counties of Kenya will experience power interruptions between three o’clock in the morning and eleven o’clock in the evening.
Counties affected by the power outage include Nairobi, Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Homa Bay, and Kilifi.
In Nairobi County, areas such as Kenyatta University, Lavington, and Westlands will experience power outages between three o’clock in the morning and eleven o’clock in the evening.
Parts of Kiukenda and Kiamumbi areas in Kiambu County will be affected by power outages between three o’clock in the morning and eleven o’clock in the evening.
Some areas in Chaka, Karundas, Mbiriri, and Gitugi Tea Factory in Nyeri County will experience power outages between three o’clock in the morning and eleven o’clock in the evening.
In Uasin Gishu County, several areas in Leseru and Lower Sosian will be affected by power outages between three o’clock in the morning and nine o’clock in the evening.
In Kirinyaga County, parts of Kagumo and Mutira areas will experience power outages between three o’clock in the morning and ten o’clock in the evening.
Some areas in Gendia and Simbiri in Homa Bay County will be affected by power outages between three o’clock in the morning and nine o’clock in the evening.
Several parts of Vipingo area in Kilifi County will also experience power outages between three o’clock in the morning and eleven o’clock in the evening.
