M-Pesa services to be unavailable as Safaricom announces maintenance

Service provider Safaricom has announced that on Monday from 1 am to 1:30 am, it will be carrying out M-Pesa system maintenance.

“As part of these ongoing enhancements, we will be carrying out planned system maintenance on the evening of Monday, June 24, 2024, from 1 am to 1.30 am,” it said.

During the maintenance, all M-Pesa services will be unavailable.

Safaricom, however, said all other services, including calls, data and SMS, will remain available.

The timing of this maintenance has been planned to result in the least inconvenience to our customers.

The provider has apologised for any inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience.
