Ex-Governor Wycliffe Wangamati lands state job
Former Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati and Jubilee party chairman Nelson Dzuya have landed state jobs in the latest state appointments.
Wangamati, who served as the second Bungoma Governor has been appointed to chair the Public Service Superannuation Fund Board of Trustees.
He was appointed by Treasury CS Prof Njuguna Ndung’u.
Wangamati will serve for the next three years.
“The Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Economic Planning appoints Wycliffe Wafula Wangamati to be the Chairperson of the Public Service Superannuation Fund Board of Trustees, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 7th June, 2024,” the gazette notice reads.
The CS for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Salim Mvurya has also appointed Nelson Dzuya a member of the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute.
He will serve in this capacity for the next three years.
“The Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs appoints Nelson Dzuya to be a member of the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 7th June, 2024.”
Dzuya is the Jubilee party chairman.
In October last year, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki appointed Dzuya a member of the Non-Governmental Organizations Coordination Board.
His appointment was effective October 13, 2023, for three years.Â
